It’s hard to believe that such an extraordinary designer would take his life on not only the first day of New York Fashion Week, but the day he was to debut a new line. Now I don’t know much about Alexander McQueen, only 40 years old, but I do know that he changed the fashion industry with his extreme vision and designs. He’s definitely left his imprint on the fashion world and as sad as it is, he will be missed. As a small tribute and to illustrate just how much of a visionary he was I’ve chosen three looks (it wasn’t easy on which to go with) from his Spring 2010 collection.
