There’s something about getting home from a long day and finding out you’ve got a package waiting for you. You’ve been expecting it and you already know what it is, yet you’re still happy to see it finally came. Why is that? Why do we get excited over things we know we’re getting? For me, the thought of receiving new things is exciting. The anticipation of waiting for something new to arrive is all over when you get that box, rip it open and see what it is you’ve been waiting for. It’s like unwrapping a present. A present that you paid for.
Here I had just ordered a Beyond Vintage top from Piperlime and some Jessica Simpson platforms from Endless. You’ll see them in some upcoming photos I’ll soon post. It took forever for them to arrive due to the massive snowstorms we got back-to-back. UPS wasn’t delivering anything, but it was well worth the wait!
The saying is definitely true: Good things come in packages!
