I’ve always admired the brand Leifsdottir. On occasion, I’d browse their pieces at Nordstrom. I knew Anthropologie carried bits and pieces of their stuff, but then I found out that the brand was going to be exclusively sold there. I thought that was interesting. But then I found out they were coming out with a line of handbags and I couldn’t wait to see them. About a week ago I got an email from Anthropologie saying the collection was now available online. I’m in love with the handbags! Especially the one at the top. View the full collection here!
You know I had to do it! Due to my undying love for J.Crew, I took it upon myself to post some of my favorite looks from the upcoming Fall 2011 collection. Expect to see patterned pants and ankle length wool trousers. What I’m most excited about is the amazing colors they come in. I can’t wait to own a pair! Rich colors will also come in the form of highwaisted wide leg wool trousers. Also super adorable. Lots of fun textures (such as tweeds and velvets) and unexpected layering. I was surprised to see a bright colored puffer vest over a tweedy plaid blazer. Interesting combination.
Woven button-ups under sweaters were big throughout the collection. I loved the look of the cape styled with a pair of boyfriend jeans. I liked the contrast of something dressy with something casual. When it comes to the shoes and accessories, expect to see multi-strap pumps, leopard spot moccasins and goooorgeous leather handbags. The collection definitely has a vintage feel to it. I CANNOT wait!
After seeing the July issue of Lucky with Lauren Conrad on the cover and envying her shoes, I went to see what pieces she was wearing. Come to find out, the adorable blazer and leather shorts are from her new line, Paper Crown. Set to launch in July, I was really impressed with the pieces this time around. Not to mention, they look exactly like something she’d wear. You’ll be able to find her designs at Nordstrom, Ron Herman stores, Planet Blue and Revolveclothing.com. Keep an eye out because I’m sure this line will get picked up by more stores and websites. Until then, stay updated with her website here and enjoy these looks from her upcoming collection.
So what do you think? The gray maxi with the leather jacket was a cute look. The tiered maxi was gorgeous and how about that camel-colored blazer? Love it.
Love the Marc by Marc Jacobs Spring 2011 collection! Stripes, bright colors, fun shapes and fresh silhouettes. We’re still seeing major military influences for Spring, as well as, sportier looks. New this season is the 70’s vibe. Gorgeous prints, highwaisted fits, and full below-the-knee skirts and sundresses give off a flirty sophistication that we all should have a bit of in our wardrobes. I started off writing this blog thinking I was going to incorporate a few of my favorite looks from the collection, but had a hard time choosing. So here are 14 looks of dresses, jumpsuits, shorts amd skirts that loved.

It’s way too early to think about Fall 2011. I just want to get to warmer weather. Although she didn’t show at Mercedez-Benz Fashion Week, Rachel Zoe did release a lookbook for her first collection. Here are some of her Fall 2011 pieces. She calls her collection, “uptown chic and downtown cool infused with Parisian elegance and London street style.” With 33 looks total, you’ll be able to find them at stores near you come fall. Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, and Bloomingdale’s will be some of the retailers carrying them.
