Cold Shoulder

This top was the very first piece of clothing I ever bought from ZARA. It’s been over 5 years, but it’s still a favorite. Blush pink silk and you can adjust the tie in the front so you can wear it on or off of the shoulders. Kept the jewelry minimal and let these amazing vintage statement earrings have a moment.

What I Wore: Zara top (old, alternate HERE), Express pants (old, alternate HERE), vintage earrings from Atlantis Dry Goods **Photography by Surpass Visuals

Purple Haze

StyleLust Pages: Purple Haze

I’ve been wearing a lot of purple lately, huh? It’s funny because I almost never wear purple. At all. Not on purpose, but it’s just something I’ve noticed. I came across this light purple knit tank folded away with the tag still attached. I’ve had it for a couple of years and almost decided to donate it before I made the quick decision to cut it. In comes this bright purple pencil skirt. Super comfy and can be worn in a variety of ways. Like with a chunky sweater later. But I loved the shades of purple together. Of course, I then had to add in a little nude, black and white via shoes and accessories.

What I Wore: Old Navy top *cut* (old, alternate HERE or HERE), Boohoo skirt (HERE), Love,Cortnie ‘Mocha’ clutch (Only 2 left HERE), BCBG Max Azria heels (limited sizes HERE), River Island sunnies from ASOS (HERE or HERE), J.Crew earrings, Melt Cosmetics lipstick in Stupid Love **Photography by Surpass Visuals

Ruffled Up

StyleLust Pages: Ruffled Up

I found this blouse tucked away in my closet. Kind of forgotten, but not completely. Figured it was time to make it new again now that warmer temps have returned. I ended up pairing it with this bubble skirt which is an equally aged piece. Both pieces I loved, but had never actually thought of wearing them together. The duo could even pass for a dress!

What I Wore: BCBG Max Azria top and skirt (old), Love,Cortnie ‘Comic’ clutch (HERE), Zara heels (similar on sale HERE) **Photography by Surpass Visuals

Fedora First

My first time wearing a fedora and I like it! I was never into hat-wearing, but I really like this one. You can literally find this style of hat anywhere. I had planned on getting one from J.Crew, but figured I should spend less money on it just in case I hated it. So I opted for the Forever 21 version. Glad I decided to try it.

But about this dress! If it came in multiple colors I would definitely stock up on a few. This is like my ideal Summer dress. Lightweight, low cut tank dress with a unique hemline. It’s perfect and I plan on wearing it a lot. I’m going to Miami again in a couple of weeks. Both pieces are definitely coming with.

What I Wore: Nasty Gal dress (HERE, alternate HERE), Forever 21 hat (HERE or HERE), Sam Edelman sandals (on sale HERE), Beetle necklaces from Atlantis Dry Goods, Love,Cortnie ‘Color Me’ clutch in pink (choose your color HERE), SUPER sunnies (HERE) **Photography by Surpass Visuals

Eyelets & Stripes

Giving old pieces new life. I’m wearing a dress I got years ago from Anthropologie as a skirt. The detailing is just so pretty. If it wasn’t I’d have given it away a long time ago. The next step? Officially making it a skirt by cutting the top part off and adding a waistband. Maybe one day if I can find the time. Until then, a faux skirt it is.

What I Wore: J.Crew top (similar HERE), Anthropologie dress as a skirt (alternate HERE & HERE), Gap belt, Pelle Moda heels (alternate HERE), MAC lipstick in MAC Red (HERE) **Photography by Surpass Visuals
