I thoroughly enjoyed taking these pictures. Just being in the middle of dozens of trees, breathing the fresh air and listening to the small animals scurry around me. Perspective. I loved it! It was the perfect backdrop too. I kept it super casual in a sweater and wide legs I’ve owned for years. But I did happen to add something new to my look. That being my vintage earrings. Boy-o-boy do I love them! A two inch combination of lucite and gold? Too unique to pass up.

I rarely bare my midriff on my blog, but I figured I’d make an exception for this adorable cardigan that’s been folded away in one of my drawers for years. Yes, years. Sad, I know. The color and detailing is so unique. White pleating going down the center with green ‘X’s on top of where the buttons are underneath. Too cute.

I’m not sure what it is, but I clearly have a major love for vests. See HERE & HERE, for example. What’s worse is that I haven’t even worn half of the vests that I own here on my blog. Takes note. This time I wore one over a bandeau and paired it with a high-waited midi skirt. Which I love, by the way. I’m a fool for stripes (AND IT’S ON SALE NOW!!). But forget the outfit. How gorgeous are these pink blooms??

I recently came to the realization that I did not own a white button-up. That’s insane. A top so basic and classic is definitely a must for every closet. I found this one in J.Crew and loved its tailored fit. I paired it with a bandage mini skirt and statement accessories. Maybe next time I’ll wear it with cut-offs or destructed boyfriend jeans. Who knows. I’m just glad I’ve added this piece to my collection of button-ups.
