Lace Up Dress

From On February 23, 2018

Last week I celebrated my birthday. I don’t like to do much more than a lunch date with hubs since you need a reservation to have dinner just about anywhere on Valentine’s Day. And I’m not here for any type of crowd. Especially when it comes to eating. But this year was special. Why? Because it was my first celebrating as a mom. She makes everything special though. And Anyone who knows me knows that I wear a lot of pink during February, so this look was no exception.

Buttoned Denim Skirt

From On February 2, 2018

StyleLust Pages: Buttoned Denim Skirt

I am jumping for joy in this denim skirt! You guys don’t even know! It’s one of my favorite pencil skirts that I own and it was somewhat new to my closet when I got pregnant. Fast forward 9 months later when baby was here, add another 2 months and I went to try it on for the first time post baby. To my disappointment, it would not go over my hips. I was so bummed and really thought I’d never get into it again. Boom! Clearly, I did get back into it! There was no way I could ever part with this bad boy if it wasn’t to fit again.

What I Wore: Boohoo top (HERE), ASOS skirt (alternate HERE, HERE), Love,Cortnie ‘Three Points’ Drawstring bag (HERE), Stuart Weitzman heels (similar HERE), Baublebar earrings (alternate HERE)

5 Ways To Style A Leopard Clutch For Date Night

From On January 28, 2018

StyleLust Pages: 5 Ways To Style A Leopard Clutch For Date Night

Let’s face it, dates can be nerve-wrecking. Especially if it’s with someone new. Regardless of the circumstances we always want to look our best. I’m sharing 5 looks with alternative options to help you do just that.

The above look can work for all types of dates. Out to dinner, an evening party…the possibilities are endless. Wide legs are a great option. A top showing off a little cleavage adds a little sexiness to an otherwise covered look. If you’d like something a little less baring, opt for a top that bares your shoulders instead. Top off this look with a statement necklace OR statement earrings & the leopard clutch (Available HERE).

SHOP THE LOOK: Deep V Top (similar HERE, alternate HERE), Red Wide Leg Pants (similar HERE, HERE, HERE), Statement Necklace (alternate HERE, HERE), Leopard Clutch (HERE), Heels (HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE)

All you need for this look is a midi dress! Easy enough, right? Once you have that part taken care of you can layer on the jacket, or if you choose, not layer on anything at all. Switch up this look with a leather jacket, a blazer or dress it down with a denim jacket. This look would also look great with strappy flat sandals.

SHOP THE LOOK: Midi Dress (similar HERE, HERE), Leather & Knit Cardigan (alternate HERE), Leopard Clutch (HERE), Heels (HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE)

Lastly, try a soft look such as this. A lightweight off the shoulder sweater paired with a knit midi skirt. Super comfortable if you’re going to be out for a long period of time. Covered and still sexy with a fitted skirt and a bare shoulder. Nude colored heels or a heel that matches the sweater or skirt works perfectly.

Dress With Jeans

I love this black, navy & gray combo! The leopard breaks it up a bit, but what about this dress as a top though? Who doesn’t love a versatile piece? I love everything about this dress, but sometimes you just want to wear pants. The buttons that go all the way down the front made this easy. Layered on an old denim jacket and I was ready. The weather in Miami has been cool lately. Below average, cool. And I’m enjoying all of it.

What I Wore: Gap jacket (similar HERE), Line by K dress, Banana Republic jeans, Kurt Geiger heels, Love,Cortnie ‘Arya’ Crossbody Bucket Bag (HERE), Baublebar earrings (HERE)
