New To My Love,Cortnie Etsy Shop!

From On December 18, 2011

Introducing the new and super-oversized ‘Royal Vintage’ clutch! Almost twice the size of one of my normal bags, it’s a pretty big one. There are only a total of three available. It’s named Royal Vintage because of the royal blue color that’s prominent throughout the bag and is also the color of the lining on the inside. Although it’s not vintage, I love its dated look.

Now the bag on the bottom has been a work in progress! I’m so glad to finally show you guys what I’ve been working on. Deep hunter green leather with blue and sea green color-blocked strips. The lining is absolutely gorgeous. A floral print with the same matching colors. Not to mention there’s a double pocket on the inside! I’m in love with this bag and I hope that you guys will be too.

Shop them at LOVECORTNIE.ETSY.com! (the leather one will be available by noon on 12/18. Also available in limited quantities so act fast!)

Oh yea! I’ve got a new Facebook Fan page for my bags! Become a fan (HERE) to stay updated on promotions, features, giveaways and new additions to the shop!

Cable Knits, Silky Prints & Love

From On November 10, 2010

I recently ordered this silky, draped skirt from J.Crew and couldn’t wait to get it. I had seen it earlier in the season, but didn’t think it was worth $138. So I figured I’d keep my eye on it and snatch it up when it went on sale. Luckily it was still available in my size when it did. It arrived on my doorstep the other day and I couldn’t wait to wear it, but with what? I figured a light colored top and brown belt would be great. So I decided on this ivory colored sweater I got from Club Monaco when I was in Miami earlier this year. I actually have it on backwards. The deep V should actually be in the front, but I love an open back.

The soft leather belt (Pellemelle) I got years ago from Anthropologie, along with the cable knit tights. The big brass buckle on the belt is so big and really makes the belt unique. The brown color and the print on the skirt remind me of the colors I’m currently seeing outside. They go perfect together. Add my newest shoes from ALDO and it’s a done deal. While I’d much rather have worn no tights at all, it’s a little too brisk for bare legs at this point. Brown tights just wouldn’t have done it for me.

Oh! I can’t forget this gorgeous LOVE necklace I ordered on Etsy. It’s by a local designer and it’s my second piece from her. Check out her line of jewelry, Lanyapi Designs, here. The ring is also from J.Crew. It’s a great piece. Something else I think is great is this OPI nail polish in Do You Lilac It? Has to be one of my favorite colors that they’ve come out with.
