Plain & Simple

From On September 8, 2011

This month marks the 2 year anniversary for StyleLust Pages. I can’t believe it has been that long. My posts were kind of boring looking back at them and I did no outfit posts whatsoever. I’m definitely happy to see things progressing. I’ve met some great bloggers and now I’m designing something I’ve been obsessed with for a while. Oversized clutches will always be a favorite of mine.

So here’s a quick outfit post. I’m wearing my $15 pants I got on super sale at J.Crew. I think they go well with my Genevieve clutch (check out my shop here!). Love the lighter shades and the brown together. My mom always told me that my hair had a reddish tint to it under natural light, but I could never see it. Well, I see it here. I’m not sure the exact color of my hair, but it’s my natural color. It has a mind of it’s own and gets lighter in the summertime. So I let it.

What I wore:
H&M tank, Forever 21 sunglasses, J.Crew pants, Gap belt, Love,Cortnie clutch and Diane von Furstenburg wedges, Essie’s nail polish in Blanc

The Genevieve Clutch

It’s here! The Love,Cortnie clutches that I gave you a sneak peek of are finally up for sale in my Etsy shop Lovecortnie.etsy.com! I only have three of the prints available for now until I am able to get my hands on some zippers in the correct color. Each bag is named after one of the women in my family. The Genevieve, Karen and Elizabeth clutches are definitely statement making and I’m so happy to be able to share them with you guys! Check out my Etsy shop and get a better look for yourselves!

A Sneak Peek At Love, Cortnie

From On August 29, 2011

A few days ago I mentioned how I’ve been contemplating making and selling handbags. So yes, I’ve officially decided to start making them. Oversized clutches to be exact. I’ve loved them for some time and own quite a few. I’ve always imagined the type of clutch I would love to buy, but could never find one in an actual store (or on a website). So now I’m putting it in my own hands and will start making them myself. These are a few of the patterns they will consist of. So keep an eye out on my new Etsy shop lovecortnie.etsy.com, for they will be going up for sale soon. I’ll keep you guys posted!
