StyleLust Pages: Red, Black & POW!

I came across this top the other week while in Nordstrom. Being that it was so basic AND in black and white, I figured that it should come home with me. I thought it would pair well with something high-waisted. Yup, it did. I’m also not sure what it is, but I think red, black and yellow make a really good color combination.

What I Wore: Topshop top (HERE), Express skirt (old, alternate HERE), Love,Cortnie ‘Comic’ clutch (HERE), Charles Jourdan heels (old), Mom’s vintage earrings

StyleLust Pages: Extra Large

My love for black and white prints started early. I had to be fresh out of college (which was 8 years ago) when I bought this scarf. I remember browsing Anthropologie’s website and seeing it. I ended up driving about 45 minutes away to the store closest to me at the time. And to my delight, there is was and there I went to the register to purchase it. It has since been my favorite scarf. It’s extra large and super warm. Not to mention, it’s beautiful!!

What I Wore: Topshop cardi (old, alternate HERE), BCBG Max Azria leggings (old, alternate HERE or HERE), Anthropologie scarf (old, alternates HERE and HERE), Kurt Geiger pumps (HERE), Melt Cosmetics lipstick in Space Cake

Trend Alert: Bucket Bags

From On March 7, 2010

Bucket bags are in for spring! High end, low end and everything in between. I can’t decide on which one I want or if I will get one at all. Drawstrings, studs, or fringe; there is so many to choose from. The first is the Alexander Wang Diego bucket bag from Oaknyc.com. The texture of this bag is stunning and the studs give it even more character. It looks great. The second is the Suede Stud Pouch Bag from Topshop. I like the metal disc and tassle detailing. The third is the Goa Drawstring Bag from Banana Republic. Loving the navy, another hot color for spring! The last one is the Charlie My Love Breezy Mini Bag from Shopbop. The tie-dye tassles are so unique. If I had to choose between the four it would definitely be between this one and Alexander Wang’s.

I really wanted to add the new Marc Jacobs bucket bag to the collage, but I haven’t seen it any where other than in magazines. I’ll post a pic on the Facebook Fan Page once I find it on the net.
